Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant position in Womens Services. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Chico CA 95926

Assignment Start Date: 3/12/2024

Anticipated Schedule: Days Full Time 410s

Starting salary range: $133000.00 to $166000.00

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice. They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis psychosocial assessment and management of healthillness needs to provide direct patient care and education to patients families students and nursing staff. The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.

OR

The Physician Assistant (PA) provides and coordinates direct patient care. The PA provides diagnostic therapeutic and preventative healthcare services as delegated by a physician. The PA will report to the Womens Services Manager for all employee/employer issues regarding departmental and organizational operations. The PA consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION (Nurse Practioner Position)

Experience:

  • Bilingual in Spanish desired
  • Clinical or ambulatory experience preferred

Education:

  • Graduate of a Family or Womens Health Nurse Practitioner program. (New graduates may be considered with prior experience in pediatrics and/or NICU)

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing (within 3 months of hire)
  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application (within 3 months of hire)
  • Meets Centers for Medical & Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare
  • Current AHAHCP CPR recognition
  • Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff Office and Finance Office
  • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with a Family Practice or Womens Health specialty desired

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

  • Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must have the ability to lead motivate delegate analyze information and problemsolve.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION (for Physician Assistant Position)

Experience:

  • Recent OBGYN experience is desired
  • Oneyear clinical experience as a Physician Assistant is desired
  • Being bilingual in Spanish is desirable

Education:

  • Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission (ARC) on Education for Physician Assistants (or its predecessor agency)
  • OR current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

  • Current California Physician Assistant License
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program
  • Current CPR(BLS/BCLS) recognition
  • Current ACLS recognition (within 3 months of hire)
  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
  • Meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to bill Medicare
  • Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff Office and Finance Office

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

  • Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must demonstrate technical competence professional clinical judgment communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis.
