Job Description
Title: C Developer
Location: Philadelphia PA MUST be onsite (need local in 40 miles)
Duration: 1 year
No H1Bs & CPTs
Received 25 resumes for the first round. Resumes were all over the place chose a few to interview but no one had deep enough expertise with the Linux/C multithreaded experience. Didnt expect a highly highly qualified candidate which would include XumoTV/RDK components.
Level III role 5 to 7 years is fine not looking for 20 years.
Day to day is mix of development & triage/bug fixing issues across the stack.
Needs strong C/C Linux system level experience.
Bonus if theyve worked around systems supporting streaming video and/or RDK it is not required.
Asking questions around synchronization & multithreading and candidates arent answering to his satisfaction.
