Responsibilities:

• Drive the complete procurement lifecycle ensuring seamless product flow by forecasting demands managing supplier relationships and synchronizing with multiple teams for efficient inventory management.
• Craft and execute a global sourcing strategy meticulously evaluating and selecting suppliers while managing contractual relationships to ensure product quality and punctual delivery.
• Implement performance metrics to evaluate supplier effectiveness manage supply chain disruptions proactively and identify costsaving opportunities to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business supply chain management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement supply chain management and vendor negotiation with a clear track record of success.
• Required ISM or APICS certification complemented by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in business administration or supply chain management.
• Multilingual capabilities particularly in languages pertinent to our supplier base to foster better negotiations and relationships.
• Proven experience in the food import and distribution sector especially with Mediterranean and European markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cost reduction projects and supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Superior negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively across crossfunctional teams.
