The Business Development team is dedicated to advancing web3 technology and expanding The Graph Networks reach globally. We craft innovative strategies foster partnerships and support network participants all while cultivating vibrant communities. Our diverse expertise in Business Development Partnerships Solutions Engineering Brand Building and GRT Relations drives the web3 revolution. Join us in shaping the future.

Were seeking a highly motivated manager for our Business Development / Partnerships team. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter with a passion for web3 and a strong grasp of The Graph. This role requires driving network growth prioritizing team success in completing quarterly goals and targets and leveraging a strong network within both blockchain and traditional industries. Preferred location is within the United States time zone but we welcome candidates from anywhere.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Lead and oversee the BD partnerships team including creating individual development plans and taking ownership of new business and growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute business strategies for us.
  • Help manage top accounts utilizing decentralized network queries and convert hosted service users into Graph Network users.
  • Oversee the education process for new dApps on how to migrate to the network ensuring a seamless experience throughout.
  • Proactively lead strategic account planning for key clients and serve as an escalation point for performance issues collaborating across the organization to exceed client expectations.
  • Facilitate successful resolution of any client solution performance or operational issues.
  • Continuously assess clarify and validate client needs translating them into actionable plans.
  • Define department objectives (OKRs) and set departmental strategy ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional leadership to provide proper support for client initiatives. If a feature is needed for a user pushing for that feature internally.
  • Play a pivotal role in extending The Graph Networks presence by forging partnerships with qualified chains throughout the web3 ecosystem. Innovate and execute strategic business development initiatives to bolster The Graph Networks global presence and gain net new users.
  • Great at public speaking to help build our brands.

What We Expect
  • Previous experience working in Partnerships or Business Development within the web3 ecosystem
  • Ideally 5 10 years of working experience strong track record of managing midsized teams with a strategic and actionoriented approach. Ideally with past stints at Tier 1 VCs startups scaleups investment banking or management consulting.
  • Able to liaise effectively across CEO CFO product and marketing functions projects and teams with a holistic view and understanding.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills including strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record in successful sales business development and managing institutional relationships. Minimum 8 years in a highvolume sales/BD role.
  • Detailoriented and datadriven with strong problemsolving and multitasking skills. Minimum 23 years management experience.
  • Ideally builder and founder experience in web3 and working with blockchain protocols foundations and companies preferably in a business development capacity. Solid understanding of The Graph and relevant blockchain data infrastructure and technology.
  • Proven track record of efficiently and amicably closing deals. Very good network in the industry. Able to open all doors.

The Graph is the source of data and information for the decentralized internet. As the original decentralized data marketplace that introduced and standardized subgraphs The Graph has become web3s method of indexing and accessing blockchain data. Since its launch in 2018 tens of thousands of developers have built subgraphs for dapps across 40 blockchains including Ethereum Arbitrum Optimism Base Polygon Celo Fantom Gnosis and Avalanche.

This role isbased in North America (will consider Europe for very strong candidates)
