YOUR MISSION

  • We are looking for an experienced account manager to work with our UK Sales Controller in developing new business and driving sales growth across our existing portfolio of UK retail customers. These include Tesco Coop Holland & Barrett WHSmiths Travel Superdrug Spar Nisa Costcutter and Musgraves Ireland.
  • Alongside the UK Sales Controller you will be responsible for building strong partnerships with our customers and seeking new business opportunities. Working with both the UK and German team you will have the opportunity to build your career within this unique food tech startup which aims to improve the populations nutritional health whilst adhering to its B Corp pillars.
  • Responsible for the key account management and relationship building of key UK retail partners
  • Manage grow and win new businesses to drive distribution of products and maximise margin
  • Strategic forecasting of accounts orders
  • Identify and exploit business opportunities in the UK retail landscape
  • Negotiate all elements of pricing terms and promotions and assist in the planning of trade marketing activities and activation plans aimed at increasing sales at UK retail partners
  • Produce accounts reporting and pre and postpromotion activity
  • Act as an interface between our retail partners and relevant yfood HQ department for all accountrelated inquiries
  • Manage effective communication of Brand plans to Retail partners and wholesalers

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • You are based in the UK (within M25 London is ideal) as it is a Hybrid role with occasional travel to our head office in Munich
  • You will report to our Country Manager UK and work closely with him on further expanding our retail footprint
  • You have at least 5 years FMCG sales experience in the UK dealing with retailers like Holland & Barrett Coop Tesco Sainsburys etc.
  • You have strong experience in account management and effective building relationship internally and externally
  • You have strong commercial acumen and have the ability to prepare solid proposals tailored to accounts requirements
  • You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a high affinity for numbers
  • You are ambitious and targetoriented have big picture thinking and a great problemsolver
  • You are able to work independently and be handson and also collaboratively
