Job Overview

Looi Consulting seeks a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to help to acquire new clients in the US. The BDM drives revenue growth by finding new clients nurturing existing relationships and delivering staffing solutions that meet the changing demands of the IT industry. The BDM has recent experience with selling technical staffing services in the US market understands the challenges of selling professional services leverages their network and knows how to overcome obstacles. Looi Consulting provides nearshore technical consultants for US companies to ramp up teams reduce costs and access specialized skills and diverse talent.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients in need of technical IT staffing services through channels such as LinkedIn networking social media engagement cold calling email outreach networking events and referrals.
  • Understanding Client Needs: Conduct indepth consultations with clients to understand their technical requirements including specific skills project scope timelines and budget constraints.
  • Solution Proposal: Develop staffing solutions for clients including recommending candidates.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with prospective past and current clients serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Recruiters: Work closely with technical recruiters to understand client requirements and match them to qualified candidates with the desired skills.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and market demand for technical skills. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a structured sales pipeline tracking leads opportunities and client interactions using CRM tools. Continuously follow up on leads and progress opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs related to revenue generation client acquisition and customer retention.
  • Adapting to Technological Changes: Stay updated on advancements in technology and IT trends to effectively communicate the companys value proposition and address client needs with the latest technical solutions.
  • Use online platforms social media and other channels to engage with prospects and showcase the companys capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing Business Management or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven sales track record in IT Staffing IT Solutions or SaaS products.
  • Work partially during US business hours.
  • Experience in the IT industry technology management and implementation.
  • Exceptional communication leadership and communication skills meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to focus on the sales strategy and plan avoiding discouragement and distractions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Zoho CRM).
  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken.

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Network of clients contacts business associates in IT industry.
