Looking for a clientfacing role Want to work in an international environment Have a passion for the media & marketing agency landscape

I am partnering with a global market research agency who are looking for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for their media & marketing agency clients in their key market Germany. Their main product is a market intelligence platform (SaaS) that helps their clients stay ahead of the trends in the industry. This is a mobile role and will involve facetoface meetings with new clients across the designated region as well as conversation via phone and email. As this is a new position and a new business area for my client there is great potential to be part of shaping this role.

Tasks

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Growing the client base across the DACH region focusing on new business development.
  • Working closely with your Business Development Executive to identify and qualify inbound leads as well as your own leads
  • Travelling to meet clients onsite field sales (ca. 25%)
  • Providing onsite advisory services to clients
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Staying on top of the latest developments in the industry

Your qualifications:

  • Solid B2B sales/ new business development/ account management experience
  • Knowledge and experience within the media/ marketing agency landscape in Germany
  • Interest or previous experience in market research and market intelligence is of advantage
  • Have a consultative sales approach
  • Experience working with sales goals and targets
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ideally bachelors degree or equivalent education

You will be compensated with a competitive basic salary and with a generous uncapped commission package on top. In other words your success will be dependent on your hard work. You will also be working in an internationaloriented team working with offices across Europe with a lot of room to grow and develop within the organisation.
