Job Description:
The Business Development Manager position is a key sales role within the TCS IOT&DE Business Unit in North America responsible for executing sales and business development for Digital Thread and PLM solutions across all industry verticals.
The associate will develop revenueproducing relationships with decisionmaking CxO level executives at targeted accounts / logos as well as drive the sales cycle of all assigned / generated sales opportunities from initial prospect communication through contract execution.
The role is supported by PreSales & Solution teams
The candidate will develop strategy on Digital Thread Product Lifecycle Management and Application lifecycle management solutions from TCS core offerings and create potential Business Leads Convert the deals into consistent and scalable revenue generated accounts
Responsibilities:
Understand current DT PLM markets and Define strategy in solutions / offerings.
Build Leads from targeted customers proactively and WIN the deals.
Establish executive connects with customers at leadership levels.
Define Develop and Own the GoToMarket strategy with partners. Identify strategic accounts together with the partner and convert big deals together.
Collaborate and leverage other channels in TCS and in ecosystem to create and shape larger deals.
Achieve defined goal for Total Contract value. Responsible for Total deal wins in contract value and total revenue generated in the focused set of accounts.
Achieve revenue Targets from defined set of accounts.
Qualifications:
Experience in Enterprise Engineering and Manufacturing technology sales. 10 15 years experience preferred
Experience in Technology Sales management and large multimillion dollars deals sales execution. Experience in creating multimillion USD business.
Proven track record for Clevel engagement and executive relationship building connect and messaging.
Experience in Technology Product and Services Sales. Services Sales experience advantage.
Knowledge and experience in DT PLM ERP IOT Digital Engg. Latest Digital technologies understanding and Market Trends (cloudbased PLM/ALM SaaS IIOT and other trends)
Handson experience in technology and Solution Architecture
Indepth knowledge and HandsOn experience of different PLM Solutions
Digital Thread solutions and associated industry domain understanding
Must have a passion for sales and technology.
Must have exceptional communications & written skills.
Strong business acumen.
Strong experience in building developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
