BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Our client has an exciting opportunity for experienced BDM on a fulltime permanent basis. The client is based in Colnbrook near Heathrow so are ideally looking for someone located within comfortable travel times.
This role is critical to the success of the business field sales role with 12 days office based.
BDM Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new strategic opportunities in eCommerce parcel and cross border logistics with the focus on Asia India and Australia;
Active Social Media engagement;
Building brand awareness;
Ability to turn raw concepts into compelling business opportunities;
Negotiating commercial terms;
Educating the company teams on eCommerce / Sales and Market intel;
Attending trade shows;
Develop and grow the companies network; and
Leader in all things Cross Border courier and mail logistics
BDM Requirements
Knowledge within the eCommerce / Courier / Exports International Business;
Minimum of 2 years experience in a BD role in a Courier / eCommerce / Exports International sector;
Be a born communicator;
Have a profound knowledge of selling techniques;
Sound judgment and diplomatic capabilities when it comes to sensitive matters;
Strong experience in all things Social selling; and
Have a strong network of prospective eCommerce / Courier customer connections.
BDM Offer:
Salary ranging up from 35k Depending on Experience;
Car allowance of 300 pm;
Mileage paid as per Government calculator;
M F normal office hours; and
Commission scheme is to be agreed at interview.
