Number of years of experience expected:14 years

Areas of past experience required: Business Development in the Financial Services Industry preferably in the risk tech reg tech and treasury tech space

Educational qualification expected: MBA or Graduate degree in Management/ Business Development/ Economics / Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Systems or other quantitative / computational discipline.

Preferable additional certifications: AWS and Azure cloud related certifications

Preferred geography of previous work experience: USA

Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English

A highly client focused and collaborative organization. Every person is assigned a counsellor who is responsible for mentoring and providing career guidance. The counsellor is also the primary reporting and engagement point. Every person is assigned to a Business Leader and Geography Leader. Business and Geography Leaders guide the person on business strategy and provide opportunities to work on diverse projects.

While people are assigned to a specific business line and geography they are expected to work across business lines and geographies. People are expected to collaborate with a wide range of client and personnel across levels and work as part of outcomeoriented teams.

Travel Requirement:

A global organization with clients and business interests across geographies. Travel for both short and longterm is expected for most roles. Specific requirements of travel for this role are as follows:

  • Longterm travel (612 months a year) expected: No
  • Shortterm travel (Less than 4 months a year) expected: Yes
  • Travel expected outside country of base location: No
  • Relocation expectations to another country/ city: No
  • Travel is dependent on nature and location of projects as well as the role of specific people on the project. Accordingly travel requirements may change from time to time.

    Key responsibility areas:

    • Generate leads and revenue across multiyear contracts through sales primarily in North America
    • Create stable pipeline of sold revenue to be delivered in future years
    • Manage leads through alternative channels including alliance partners other technology providers and existing relationships of the organization
    • Create presence in new accounts
    • Understand the product and service offerings of Client and position the same with clients
    • Maintain strong relations with influencers and decision makers at client organizations
    • Work closely with Business Verticals to solution and provide the most feasible options to clients that address their business requirements
    • Showcase expertise to clients to build trust and drive relationshipbased sales
    • Be aware of clients decision makers / influencers and incumbent service providers / OEMs
    • Develop knowledge of products / solutions offered value propositions client segments functions etc. within the organization
    • Create impactful client interactions during pursuits to improve chances of success
    • Timely response to client requests in relation to an opportunity
    • Support and participate in marketing initiatives

    Key performance metrics:

    • Cash revenue generated during the financial year
    • Revenue sold for future years
    • Sales in new accounts
    • New relationships developed in the marketplace
    • Leads sourced and converted from existing accounts
    • Adherence to internal sales operations processes
    • Adherence to the organizations policies

    Other expectations:

    • An ownership attitude whose passion for solving our clients strategic issues and objectives along with leading a team has grown from their previous engagements in the role
    • Strong analytical and presentation skills
    • Strong business writing and oral communication skills
    • Collaborative and partnershiporiented and ready to work as a team member/ leader
    • Demonstrated ownership over deliverables and project engagement
    • Ability to handle highly challenging and timebound projects with a positive mindset

    Other Important Information:

    • Mandatory experience required: Experience in Banking and Financial Services sales is mandatory
    • Work permit requirements: N/A
    • Period of engagement: Fulltime position
    • Probation period: 6 months
    • Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
    • Performance incentives: Typically all roles have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion
    • Leave: As per the industry standard
    • Other benefits: Other employment benefits including medical insurance will be informed during the compensation discussion.

    Selection Process:

    We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below the key steps involved are as follows:

    • Interview: There are expected to be at least 3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
    • Final discussion on career and compensation: Post final selection a separate discussion will be set up to discuss compensation and career growth. You are encouraged to seek any clarifications you have during this discussion.
