Business Development Executive

Our client in the IT and Technology sector is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to call on clients based in the retail and hospitality sector.

Duties include:

1. Lead Generation: Researching potential clients or customers identifying key decisionmakers and initiating contact to gauge interest in the companys products or services.
2. Prospecting: Actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels such as cold calling emailing social media outreach attending events and networking to create a pipeline of potential clients or customers.
3. Setting Appointments: Schedule meetings or demos with qualified leads and ensure that these appointments align with the leads needs and the companys sales objectives.
4. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with prospects by providing valuable information addressing inquiries and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. This involves regular followups to keep the company topofmind and to progress leads toward conversion.
5. Metrics Tracking: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates appointment scheduling rates and pipeline progression.

Preference to candidates that have experience calling on the retail and hospitality sector.
