ulliulpOur client is looking for a Business Development Director to head their sales teamThe Sales Manager coaches and motivates a team sales colleagues to win new customers and maintain and grow business with new customers across their assigned geographical region andor market sector andor area of specialisation They also carry a sales target and so personally generate revenue setting an jobholder will lead their team to create and execute an effective sales strategy for their team within the overall group sales strategy Developing leads demonstrating an understanding of customer reference opportunitiesliululliBuild sales approaches for specific partner and customer accountsliululliDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunitiesliliProvide accurate forecasting of partners and customersliululliDrive the promotion and sale of additional services to or through the partners and direct customersliululliMaintain a detailed knowledge of partners and customer understanding of key products and technology relevant to the companys services and industry developmentsliululliWork with key partners and customers to understand their industry value drivers and opportunitiesliulpstrongPERSON PROFILEstrongppEssential (E) or desirable (D) knowledge education experience and skillsppstrongEducation &QualificationsSpecialisedTechnicalstrongppBachelors degreeequivalent or substantial alternative experience in appsimilar role typically of at least five years EppSales or Account Management training DppstrongemExperienceemstrongppGood sales experience typically of at least three years DppSubstantial experience in the SaaS or equivalent industry typically of at least Ebrppfive yearsppDemonstrable experience of meeting or exceeding sales targets EppExperience of using a CRM or similar tool EppExperience of selling to channelindirect customers DppExperience of selling to international clients DppWider IT and Telecoms sales experience DppExperience of working within a vertical market (eg utilitieshealthcare) DppTeam leading or mentoring DppemstrongSkills Aptitudestrongempp Excellent interpersonal skills including effective
