BioTechnique is a highly potent sterile injectable and clinical oncolytics manufacturing company dedicated to providing cytotoxic and high potency sterile injectable fillfinish services. BioTechnique s project management and client services staff work closely with our clients to meet all manufacturing needs. From IND applications through commercial scale production we provide formulation and compounding fillfinish and optional lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables. Your Role

We are hiring a driven and goaloriented Business Development Associate! This is a remote position supporting 8am 5pm EST US Monday Friday. Candidates should have a strong background within the life science industry including pharma biotech and or medical device with experience in sales for fill/finish contract manufacturing organizations. This position plays a critical role is driving our overall business objectives and success.

  • Assist the Business Development Team/Manager with all business development functions including marketing market research lead generation contacting prospects preparing proposals etc. to secure CMO customers.
  • Assist with the development of an engaging proposal strategy to help shape business strategy and build strong customer relationships.
  • Use market analysis and business intelligence to help drive opportunities for commercialization and growth.
  • Support the Business Development Team/Manager in the planning preparation and execution of tradeshow in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Track sales progress and support forecast efforts.
  • Utilize ACE to manage workflow and other business development functions.
  • Maintain monitor and develop the BioTechnique website for accuracy and improvements on an as needed basis.
  • Attend and contribute to PSC Biotech business development meetings if necessary.
  • Sell services provided and identify opportunities during your activities to sell PSC Biotech professional services and PSC Software products.
  • Assist the Business Development Team/Manager to perform research on market areas to create a database of competitive intelligence on competing firms.
  • Assist in the research to identify sales opportunities meet prospective clients present demos or presentations and dose business deals.
  • Support the Business Development Team/Manager in following up on submitted information (inquiries RFP proposals etc.) with urgency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives.
  • Perform appropriate prospecting activities to identify qualified prospects for new business development.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of activities to establish and maintain good relationships with clients and the community in order to develop new business.
  • Collaborate with appropriate PSC Biotech internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with onsite departments in creating proposals.
  • Maintain documentation of proposals CDAs/NDAs in ACE.
  • Work with HR Business Development and the Finance Team to ensure business development activities are supported ensuring essential pipeline of proposals and projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Business Development Team/Manager to best effect the sustainment of operations.




Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree required in science engineering or business preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in sales for fill/finish contract manufacturing organization or equivalent experience preferred
  • Preferred to have a minimum five years of relevant experience in sales marketing business development and/or technical biotechnology area.
  • Prior P&L experience preferred
  • Knowledge of major legal issues confronting the biopharmaceutical industry and experience reviewing contracts. preferred
  • Ability to work in an environment that requires teamwork and the entrepreneurial/startup mentality of doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Analytical Skills Identifies researches and demonstrates logical reasoning to communicate critical information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management staff and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
