Business Analyst

Our direct client is looking for a Business Analyst in Tallahassee FL (onsite) (C2C/1099).

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Tallahassee FL

Type: Contract

The candidate will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
Develop requirements and data needed as gathered during Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to produce web pages as assigned by the Department.
Develop requirements and data needed as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions to produce administration tools and screens as assigned by the Department.
Document using MS Word MS Visio or other software system technical objects business requirement business processes and system processes as assigned by the Department.
Develop requirements and data needed as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions to provide direct input to and output from division databases as assigned by the Department.
Implement change management responsibilities in a code promotion role as defined with the Change Management Standard Operating procedures document (6426305) as assigned by the Department.
Develop requirements and data needed as gathered during JAR and JAD sessions with Integration Broker team to secure data transfer to and from other agencies as assigned by the Department
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following the DOH Application Testing Standard Global Artifact document on the system and identify all potential issues as assigned by the Department.
Develop tools to automate and display identification of comorbidities across surveillance system modules as assigned by the Department.
Standardize collection and storage of Disease Control and health protection (DCHP) shared data; profile laboratory and provider tables as assigned by the Department.
Develop code and queries with HMS for data extraction as assigned by the Department.
Develop code and queries for Electronic Laboratory Repotting integration as assigned by the Department.
Create required reporting documents using MS Project MS Word SQL Server Crystal Reporting Logi Reporting or other software as assigned by the department.
Update project planning using MS Project or other software with current task status weekly as assign by the department.
Collaborate with DCHP information technology teams; design develop and code based on business requirements for the DCHP Master Person Index (MPUI) project as part of the overall strategic effort for integration and interoperability of its systems and software daily as directed by the department.
Work with DCHP resources to standardize collection and storage of DCHP shared data daily as directed by the Department.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Ten years of experience communication project updated both orally and in written form with technical staff executive management and end user staff.
Ten years of experience with facilitating and development applications from use cases process documents and work flow diagrams.
Ten years of experience working with endusers and subject matter experts to document existing processes and identify appropriate changed to existing processes.
Ten years of experience translating the above documents processes to pseudo code.
Ten years of experience with facilitating analysis and design of computer applications using .Net technologies.
Ten years of experience creating and documenting end user reports.
Five years of experience with the use of Visio Word and Excel.
Five years of experience in analyzing and developing role based security.
Five years of experience with data conversion migrations database analysis and design.
Two years of experience working with health IT surveillance systems
