Job Description:
Overview: The Business Analyst in the Core Banking division at Brokerage plays a crucial role in understanding business needs identifying opportunities for improvement and facilitating the implementation of effective solutions. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders technology teams and other relevant departments to ensure the successful delivery of core banking projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements related to core banking processes.
Conduct interviews workshops and analysis sessions to elicit key business needs.
Analysis and Documentation:
Analyze complex business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Document business processes workflows and system requirements to ensure clear communication between business and technology teams.
Project Management:
Work closely with project managers to ensure that core banking projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Track project progress identify risks and propose mitigations to ensure successful project outcomes.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Present findings recommendations and project updates to various stakeholders.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that core banking solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and support the resolution of identified issues.
- Change Management:
- Facilitate the adoption of new core banking processes and technologies within the organization.
- Provide training and support to endusers during the implementation of changes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Business Finance Information Technology etc.).
- Proven experience as a business analyst in the financial industry with a focus on core banking.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and processes.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
