Job Description and expectations from the role:
- Collaborate with BA s to to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient PySpark code running on the Databricks platform
- Develop test and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines for collecting cleansing transforming and aggregating data from various sources
- Proven experience as a Databricks PySpark Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of data processing concepts and principles
- Proficiency in writing efficient and optimized PySpark code for ETL processes data transformations and data analysis
- Optimize PySpark jobs for performance and scalability considering factors such as data volume data structure and query complexity
- Must have knowledge on data warehousing and hands on exp with any ETL tool
- Experience working with largescale data sets
- Handson experience with Databricks platform and job scheduling. Understanding of SQL data modeling and data warehousing concepts
