Job Title: Business Analyst
Responsibilities/Job duties:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify gather and document business requirements for software systems processes or projects.
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements including functional and nonfunctional specifications user stories use cases and process flows.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders including business users project managers developers and other team members.
- Modeling and documenting current and futurestate business processes using techniques such as process mapping workflow diagrams and business process reengineering.
- Identifying gaps between current and desired business processes or systems and proposing solutions to address those gaps.
- Solution Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluating potential solutions technologies and vendors to meet business requirements and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
- Requirement Prioritization: Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize business requirements based on value urgency and feasibility.
- Identifying and assessing risks associated with proposed solutions or changes to business processes and developing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with users to define test scenarios test cases and acceptance criteria and facilitating user acceptance testing.
- Developing training materials and providing support to endusers during system implementation and postimplementation.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement efficiency gains and cost reduction within the organization.
- Communicating project status findings and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports presentations and meetings.
- Continuously expanding domain knowledge in relevant industries such as finance healthcare or retail to better understand business needs and challenges.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business requirements and expectations.
