Business Analyst 3 Cyber Security
Short Job Description
The IT Business Analyst performs a complete range of assignments supporting the business and technical needs within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection area. The position performs a range of items including but not limited to business needs analysis requirements elicitation solution evaluation solution impact analysis asis and future state process mapping gap analysis work definition and estimation and project lifecycle support.

Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams with 2nd round interviews being held IN PERSON at the Dimondale MI office. Interviews will be requested the week of 4/22.
Remote or Onsite: Candidates must be currently local within a commutable distance no more than 11.5 hours.Position will be hybrid in office 2 days a week upon start (Monday/Tuesday)
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of the Work Area business needs priorities supporting IT systems and data management so their role as the liaison with partners can provide analysis considering the needs of the Work Area as well as to provide guidance related to competing priorities and crossagency impacts.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within the field of IT and Security. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. Reviews analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs.
- Create informative actionable and repeatable technical and business reporting that highlights relevant trends and opportunities for improvement. Make recommendations and design modification.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications. Develop and manage documentation.
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones phases and elements establishing project budget. Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Conduct and coordinate financial product market operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs within DTMBCIP.
- Experience with MS SharePoint and SharePoint Administration Visio Azure DevOps and PowerBI strongly desired.
