Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared so share screen if asked. Use of headphones is strongly discouraged. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any Teams interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of interview to validate candidate.

Remote or Onsite: Candidates MUST be located within 11.5 hours of the greater Lansing area. Manager is not interested in candidates who need to relocate to accept offer. Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule which is inoffice 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite; Mondays Thursdays Fridays will be remote). NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

The Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery maintenance and support. This position is with Agency Services for MDOC and Assists in the design development delivery and support of Information Technology (IT) solutions to the Client Agency.

We are searching for a skilled Business Analyst that is proficient in all IT procedures and has excellent communication skills. You need to have a strong technical expertise in database design and development and come from an IT background. Ask questions and clearly communicate your results to audiences that are technical and nontechnical alike. Working closely with developers and being able to assist them in their job should not present any difficulties for you. Its not necessary for you to be a developer; nonetheless you should be able to convey the technical aspects of what developers are looking at to the client. Additionally you should be able to compile business needs and clearly deconstruct them for developers.
