Moving Office Equipment a leading provider of office relocation solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. As a Box Truck Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of office equipment to various locations.
Requirements
- Safe Operation: Drive and operate box trucks to transport office equipment between locations ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading office furniture and equipment onto and from the box trucks.
- Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on box trucks report any issues and ensure the vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork including delivery notes inspection reports and logbooks.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
- Adherence to Schedule: Follow established schedules for pickups and deliveries meeting deadlines consistently.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver or similar role.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
