- Technical/Functional Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in a computing environment with Java/J2EE/Spring
- Troubleshooting skills analytical problemsolving skills and the ability to solve technical challenges
- Knowledge of microservices development and deployment lifecycle networking and distributed architecture security compliance scalability configurations
- Insights on Service performance tuning and scalability testing / Security compliance / Service Discovery optimizations
- Good exposure to applications built on Java / JEE based technologies
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge of engineering tools (configuration management systems build processes and debuggers)
- Must have Experience working with RESTful web services (JSON JWT)
- Must have Experience working with Java Frameworks (Spring Spring boot)
- Experience on Kubernetes and containerization is highly desirable
- Experience in Cloud Native development is highly desirable
- Experience working with SQL and knowledgeable on relational Database concepts
- Experience with LINUX/UNIX creating basic scripts using UNIX standard utilities such grep awk sed etc.
- Experience in Monolithic Legacy systems migration/redesign is a plus
- Experience working with Version Control tools (SVN GIT)
- Strong knowledge of software development and project management methodologies is desirable
- Must have experience with Scrum or other Agile processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Passionate for continuous learning experimenting and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigms
