About our client

You will be working with a PNG based general business advisory and consulting firm providing services to SMEs and individuals with tailoredbusiness service solutions in business development, marketing, finance and business strategy development consultancy.

What are the daily tasks?

  • Client meetings
  • Follow up with clients with queries
  • Manage the flow of information between clients and our firm
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS s) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS s)
  • Liaise with the ATO on client matters
  • Assistance Business entity setup and registration
  • Computer data input
  • Prepare ATO applications such as ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG
  • Record time incurred on clients to ensure all work is accurately billed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant bookkeeping standards and other relevant legislation and rulings
  • Participate in external and internal training as required
  • Ensure that all work is error-free and professionally presented and complies with PK Chartered Accountant s procedures and systems
  • Maintain current and accurate files and record and date any actions and detailed file notes
  • Prepare workflow reports for your client work
  • Other duties, as requested

Requirements

  • Bookkeeping certificate and/or qualifications
  • Experience in coding transactions
  • Experience in bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Excellent MYOB and Xero knowledge
  • Excellent use of Word, Excel and Outlook
