Position Title: Bookkeeper
Work Setup: Work Onsite/Work From Office
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:30 PM PH Time
Salary: Php 55000.00 Php 65000.00

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A BOOKKEEPER
Your Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper:
Manage daytoday bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Prepare and submit BAS (Business Activity Statements) and other regulatory filings in compliance with Australian laws.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Stay updated on changes to Australian accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications as a Bookkeeper:
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper in an Australian setting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting principles and laws.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Diploma or degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g. BAS Agent certification) is a plus.
