Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Enrichery is seeking a talented and passionate PartTime Blogger (independent contractor) to join our team. As a leading provider of supplemental education services specializing in oneonone tutoring and mentoring with a focus on executive functioning we are dedicated to supporting students and parents from kindergarten through college.
Responsibilities:
Write one highquality blog post per week on educational or social issues facing students and/or parents. (see previous entries on our blog)
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
Brainstorm and propose engaging blog topics that align with the companys mission and target audience. Collaborate with Director of Marketing to maintain a calendar/schedule of blog topics.
Incorporate SEO best practices to optimize blog posts for search engine visibility; include images to accompany blog posts with awareness of copyright violation guidelines ensuring that images are not in violation of any copyrights.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure blog content aligns with overall branding and marketing strategies.
Requirements
Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong research abilities to gather relevant information and data.
Passion for education and a genuine interest in addressing educational and social issues facing students and parents.
Ability to meet deadlines and produce highquality content consistently.
Previous experience in blogging content writing or journalism preferred.
Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
