Overview

A Blockchain Developer is a critical role responsible for designing implementing and supporting a distributed blockchainbased network. They play a crucial part in developing applications that support decentralized cryptocurrency platforms and other blockchain technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technologies decentralized applications and the associated architecture.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop decentralized applications (DApps) using blockchain technology.
  • Create and implement smart contracts and native tokens using Solidity.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and deliver new features.
  • Conduct code reviews and debugging to maintain the quality and efficiency of blockchain applications.
  • Research evaluate and recommend blockchain technologies and their applications for business use cases.
  • Implement security best practices to protect blockchainbased systems and data.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for integration with various blockchain platforms.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing.
  • Optimize and enhance blockchain infrastructure ensuring high performance and availability.
  • Contribute to opensource blockchain projects and collaborate with the community.
  • Stay updated with the latest blockchain trends tools and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Document best practices and guidelines for blockchain application development.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on blockchain scalability and consensus algorithms.
  • Implement privacyfocused and permissioned blockchain solutions.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in blockchain development and decentralized applications.
  • Proficiency in Solidity programming language for smart contract development.
  • Handson experience with blockchain frameworks such as Ethereum Hyperledger or EOS.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain architecture data structures and cryptographic algorithms.
  • Experience in implementing and integrating blockchainbased solutions.
  • Knowledge of consensus algorithms distributed ledger technology and blockchain security.
  • Familiarity with blockchain development tools such as Truffle Ganache and Remix.
  • Expertise in developing and deploying smart contracts on blockchain networks.
  • Ability to work with decentralized data storage and execute transactions securely.
  • Proficient in version control tools like Git for managing blockchain codebase.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting blockchain applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of token standards such as ERC20 and ERC721 and their implementation.
  • Experience in blockchain testing frameworks and performance optimization.
