Biology teacher required for a fantastic school in Barnet- September start

We are seeking a dynamic Biology Teacher to join the team at a fantastic school in Barnet. This fulltime position will commence in September and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to providing an exceptional education to students. As a Biology Teacher you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of biology helping them develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons conducting experiments and practical demonstrations and assessing student learning progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing student potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress and achievement
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the schools Biology program and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance behaviour and academic performance

Requirements

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Biology or a related subject
• Prior experience teaching Biology preferably at the secondary level
• Passion for Biology and a commitment to student success
• Strong communication organization and classroom management skills
• Continual professional development to stay current with advances in Biology education
