Required Skills
Database Design and Modeling: Proficiency in conceptual logical and physical data modeling. Knowledge of data modeling tools (like Erwin) is essential. Prior experience developing data warehouse models supporting large datasets for CPG companies is a definite plus.
Data Warehousing Concepts: Understanding of data warehousing methodologies and concepts including star schema snowflake schema ETL processes. Knowledge of foundation data lake architecture used for business consumption in reports AI modeling analytics etc.
SQL and Database Technologies: Strong SQL skills are fundamental. Familiarity with various database technologies like Databricks Oracle SQL Server MySQL and others is important.
ETL Tools: Experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) tools and processes. Knowledge of tools like Informatica Azure Data Factory etc.
Business Intelligence Tools: Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI SAC or similar with a good understanding of how data models are utilized in reporting and analytics.
Data Quality and Governance: Understanding of data quality governance and stewardship principles to ensure the warehouse contains clean reliable data.
Experience working with enterprisescale systems in Finance Marketing Sales including SAP Experience working in Agile Scrum with Azure Devops is a definite plus.
Experience in Smart Data Access and Smart Data Integration will be an added advantage.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field
Desired Skills
Candidates with professional certification(s) and experience working with SAP and Databricks integrations are highly desired.
Soft Skills:
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Flexibility and ability to work as a selfstarter and team player.
