Position: Big Data Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Create and deploy scalable and dependable data pipelines for processing vast amounts of data.
• Optimize and develop data ingestion processes from diverse sources encompassing both structured and unstructured data.
• Construct and manage data lake infrastructure to facilitate data storage and retrieval.
• Execute data transformation and enrichment processes to ready data for analysis.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to grasp data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Uphold data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues within data processing workflows.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices within big data engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Big Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in big data technologies like Hadoop Spark Kafka Hive and HBase.
• Mastery of programming languages such as Java Scala or Python.
• Experience with distributed computing and parallel processing frameworks.
• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling database design and data warehousing principles.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
