BFS Risk Management Specialist

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement risk management strategies and solutions tailored to the needs of the BFS (Banking and Financial Services) sector.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate compliance risks within the organization.

Design and implement Risk Shield architecture to enhance risk management capabilities.

Utilize IT architecture principles to ensure the continuity and resilience of IT services.

Implement and improve IT methods and techniques including Azure DevOps GIT Python Ansible and containerization.

Drive Agile Scrum Lean DevOps and SAFe practices within the ICT sector and financial services domain.

Manage databases SQL queries certificates and Linux systems to support risk management initiatives.

Oversee Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

Monitor applications using tools like Splunk SignalFX and Grafana to ensure optimal performance and security.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization including management business experts and technical teams.

Take ownership of risk management initiatives and proactively identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Extensive experience in the IT landscape within the financial sector.

Preferably experienced in Compliance topics within the financial industry.

Proficiency in Risk Shield architecture.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar function.

Proven expertise in IT architecture principles and enhancing the continuity of IT services.

Practical experience with various IT methods and techniques including Azure DevOps GIT Python Ansible and containerization (Docker/Podman).

Relevant experience with Agile Scrum Lean DevOps and SAFe methodologies in both the ICT sector and financial services.

Knowledge of databases and SQL certificates and Linux (RHEL).

Experience with Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as Splunk SignalFX and Grafana.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with management business experts developers and other team members.

Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Fluent in English and Dutch (preferable).
