Overview:
The Junior HVAC Design Engineer plays a crucial role in the organization by supporting the design and implementation of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient functioning of HVAC systems and contributing to the overall comfort and safety of building occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing HVAC systems based on project requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop system layouts and schematics
- Participate in drafting technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
- Support the selection of HVAC equipment and components
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate HVAC systems into building designs
- Participate in onsite visits and inspections to assess HVAC system performance
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of HVAC principles and design fundamentals
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
