Banquet Server

TBest Services is seeking Banquet Servers for a special event in Washington DC. This is a temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate with the potential for future OnCall work based on performance and event needs. The ideal candidate will have banquet or catering experience excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare event space according to specific instructions provided ensuring proper setup of tables chairs linens and other necessary items.
• Serve food and beverages to guests maintaining a high standard of service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Keep the event area clean and wellstocked with supplies and perform cleanup and storage tasks after the event.
• Work closely with the Event Coordinator and team members .
• Follow all relevant health and safety guidelines as well as company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Banquet Server or similar role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts.
• Physical ability to carry heavy trays and equipment as needed.
