Bank Teller

Job role

As a bank teller, you will be responsible for processing routine operations like cashing checks, depositing money and collecting loan payments. You’ll work with the team to ensure high-quality customer service by reducing customer wait time and increasing transaction efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to customers by receiving deposits, cashing checks, issuing withdrawals and recording transactions
• Prepare specialized types of funds, such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, and money orders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Explain and promote basic products and services to clients as requested
• Adheres to security measures and controls as per teller procedures

Requirements

• [X] years of experience working in the banking industry
• High school diploma mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Cash handling and sales experience preferred
• PC skills necessary
