Backend Tech Lead PHP

JatApp is an IT product company that creates valuable hightech products used daily by millions worldwide.

We are looking for a Backend Tech Lead (PHP) for the companys largest product a crossplatform VPN service. Our product helps at least 10 million users around the world to meet their needs in cyber protection. Our goal is to enter the top 5 best VPN services in the world.

Technology stack: PHP 7 framework Yii2 MySQL MongoDB Redis Docker lxcWeb nginx RabbitMQ.

Tasks

Your responsibilities will be:

• Dedicate approximately 75% of your time to handson feature development
• Efficiently manage the organization and prioritization of the development backlog
• Lead the task estimation process and continuously enhance its accuracy
• Oversee the timely and quality delivery of the backend teams projects
• Prioritize and address technical debt within the backend teams projects
• Manage and support individual developers in their delivery and professional growth
• Cultivate a culture of collaboration knowledge sharing and teamwork among the backend team members
• Supervise the backend teams engineering process spanning from development to testing deployment and maintenance
• Facilitate the resolution of technical issues that arise between mobile PC web and backend teams
• Ensure the creation of necessary documentation for knowledge sharing and facilitate seamless onboarding of new team members
• Uphold adherence to best practices processes and industry standards for software development testing and deployment within the backend team
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools that have the potential to enhance backend performance scalability and reliability

Requirements

What youll need:

• More than 5 years of experience with PHP development
• At least 2 years of experience as Tech Lead for developers
• Experience in mentoring organization and coordination of teamwork
• Experience working with large highload projects that have been released
• Excellent skills in PHP 7 MySQL Redis Memcache and MongoDB
• Good knowledge of the RabbitMQ
• Understanding the principles of mobile and web projects for a large audience of users
• Understanding of microservice and monolithic architectures as well as desirable experience in highloaded systems (Highload)
• Knowledge of working with the Linux command line and understanding of server technologies including Nginx
• Experience in planning and managing development projects
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with other team members and stakeholders
• Ability to make decisions based on data analysis and strategic thinking
• Experience in conducting code reviews and implementation of development best practices

Will be a plus:

• Experience working with Symfony
• Good knowledge of the Yii2 framework
