The role

As a Backend.NET Developer at Solidicon you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between the visual elements and the serverside infrastructure. You will be at the core of Solidicons mission to deliver efficient seamless and robust backend systems shaping the user experience and overall functionality of our gaming products.

Your responsibilities will span across both frontend and backend development. On the frontend you will utilize your skills in JavaScript TypeScript HTML and CSS to develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. On the backend your expertise in .NET particularly C# will be crucial in developing robust scalable and maintainable serverside logic.

You will collaborate closely with our Retail Team bringing your innovative ideas and problemsolving skills to the table. With your deeprooted passion for coding youll engage in endtoend development from concept to deployment ensuring our virtual games continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

Your involvement will not only be technical. As a key player youll engage in decisionmaking processes share your insights on emerging technologies and actively participate in the continuous improvement of our development practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• EndtoEnd Development: Engage in the entire development lifecycle from understanding requirements designing solutions coding testing to deployment.

• Backend Development: Utilize your expertise in .NET particularly C# to develop robust scalable and efficient serverside logic.

• Frontend Integration: Work with HTML CSS JavaScript and TypeScript to design and implement usercentric interfaces that align with user experience designs.

• Database Management: Interact with MySQL or similar SQL databases ensuring data integrity performance and security.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Retail Team and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and to gather feedback for iterative improvements.

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the teams continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing enhanced development practices and new technologies.

• ProblemSolving: Address software bugs and troubleshoot development and production issues ensuring that our games run seamlessly.

• Backend Scalability: Design and implement backend architectures that can efficiently handle the growth in user traffic and data.

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in fullstack development ensuring that Solidicons products remain cuttingedge.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of .NET experience especially in C# as it drives over 90% of our projects and is central to our future projects.
• Proficiency with MySQL or similar SQL Databases.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript; expertise isnt a necessity but would be welcomed.
• Experience in HTML and CSS.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken as its our primary office language.

Bonus merits:

• Familiar with scalable backend architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD DevOps.
• Experience with ASP.NET Blazor
• Experience with frameworks such as React.js Vue.js or Angular.js.
• A flair for UI/UX design.
• Testdriven development experience especially in businesscritical scenarios demanding meticulous testing prior to deployment.
• Handson experience with game development frameworks like Unity or XNA/MonoGame.
