Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of the applications
• Design and develop highvolume lowlatency applications for missioncritical systems
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write welldesigned efficient and testable code
• Integrate userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic
• Implement security and data protection
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement automated unit and integration tests
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices
• Participate in code reviews
• Document the development process architecture and standard components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevant field
• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding of Java and its ecosystems
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Proficient in database management and optimization (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle)
• Handson experience with building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Version control using Git
• Experience with build tools such as Maven
• Ability to write clean welldesigned code
• Understanding of code versioning tools
• Experience with implementing security and data protection
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
