Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using programming languages such as Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Create and maintain APIs for seamless integration with external systems
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Work closely with IT operations to deploy and maintain applications
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Document code and ensure its maintainability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java Python or PHP
• Experience with database management and optimization including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of serverside templating languages
• Knowledge of web servers and experience in configuring optimizing and deploying applications on popular platforms
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with frontend developers
• Experience in handling server configurations and scaling applications for hightraffic requirements
• Understanding of security and data protection best practices
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
