Backend Developer in the field of construction-tech (m|f|d)

As a construction tech company in the center of Munich, our client is revolutionizing & digitizing the construction industry. Today, our client is already one of the leading SaaS companies in construction projects with a volume of several billion euros and helps project teams to bring real estate campaigns quickly and successfully to completion. To expand the motivated team, our client is now looking for a (Senior) Backend Developer (m/f/d).

Tasks

• You will be part of a cross-functional team and work closely with other software engineers, product managers, product designers and be responsible for the backend of the platform
• You will help solve our customers' problems throughout the entire feature lifecycle, from initial conceptualisation to implementation, deployment and maintenance
• You are an expert in working with different architectures and enjoy implementing new features
• You develop REST microservices with .NET and improve existing backend solutions
• You share your experience with other team members and proactively contribute to solution finding, architecture and development process
• You test and document the mentioned microservices and make sure that design and development follow standards and processes
• You communicate new functions/services/changes within the company and also coordinate directly with the customer if necessary

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a backend engineer
• You have experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, .NET
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design and AWS are a plus
• You have knowledge in OOP, SOLID Principles and design patterns
• You are familiar with agile and test driven development
• You understand requirements, and work out solutions independently
• You have a user-centric mindset and are interested in observing, understanding and solving user problems together with product managers and product designers
• You are fluent in English (C1) and have good written and spoken communication skills. German language skills are an advantage

The Tech-Stack:

• Frontend: Single-Page-Application with Vue.js Framework based on TypeScript.
• Backend: Micro-service architecture with .Net and javascript/typescript services mit PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Infrastructure: Cloud Native full integrated AWS Stack (Cloudfront, ECS, Lambda, SES, CloudWatch, RDS, Codebuild), managed by Infrastructure as Code (AWS cdk)
• Automated tests from unit tests, integration tests to end-to-end / UI Test
