Back end Data Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend solutions.
• Implement data models and database designs.
• Create and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Build and maintain highperformance databases.
• Implement data security and integrity measures.
• Develop and optimize APIs for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Manage and monitor data storage solutions and data pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data regulations and best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Collaborate with data analysts to fulfill data requirements.
• Implement and maintain automated data pipelines.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a backend or data engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Knowledge of AWS services for data storage and processing.
• Experience in big data technologies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Ability to optimize and tune database performance.
• Understanding of data security and compliance measures.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced agile environment.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
