The project and the role description:
We are looking for an experiencedAzure DevOps Quality and Test Manager who would join a project for our Swedish client a global manufacturing company that provides professionals and consumers with forest park lawn and garden products.
You would be part of our clientsteam in the NG PLM Program. This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of quality assurance and testing withinAzure DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development quality assurance and extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies that align with company goals and project requirements. Ensure these strategies are adaptable to various projects and technologies.
- Test Management: Oversee all testing activities including automated and manual testing to ensure highquality software deployment. Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts.
- DevOps Integration: Integrate quality assurance processes into the Azure DevOps pipeline. Work closely with the development team to implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices that include robust testing protocols.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Ensure that the software meets all performance reliability and efficiency standards.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers Business Architects and testers. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including development operations and product management to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Tool and Technology Management: Select and manage tools and technologies for testing and quality assurance. Stay updated with the latest trends in Azure DevOps and quality assurance methodologies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in software quality and DevOps processes and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on quality assurance activities test results and improvement areas to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality assurance processes and tests.
Required skills or techniques:
- Proven experience in quality assurance and testing in a DevOps environment particularly with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Handson experience with automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps tools.
- Excellent leadership communication and project management skills
- Fluent in English to work effectively in a multinational team.
- Location in Czechia or Slovakia for easy signing of cooperation offers and occasional team meetings.
