Azure Cloud Architect

Responsibilities
1.Architecting, designing and building Cloud solutions to business requirements in accordance to
enterprise application (Tableau,Hexagon XALT/EAM) and technology roadmaps, principles, standards and
guidelines
2.Analyzes emerging technologies, influences technology decisions and direction of project solutions
3.Provides on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality
assurance and issue resolution
4.Interacts with stakeholders and has the executive presence to influence direction, sell ideas, roadmaps,
and approaches
5.Improving the platform offering through a combination of the automation of manual tasks, introduction of
innovative technologies & practices, scoping, implementation and documentation of processes and
policies including HLD/LLD documentation.
6.Provide recommendations to clients with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical
implementation roadmaps for Azure adoption
7.Proficient with data migrations utilizing Python, Powershell & Microsoft Solutions
8.Design and implement advanced functions of Azure including security, governance and compliance.
9.Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls,
Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights,
SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
10.Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs
11.Implement CI/CD based application development methodology using tools like Jenkins/TFS/powershell
12.Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery and deployment of
complex solutions.

Required Skill sets
1.Be familiar with Cloud, C#/HTML5/JS/.NET at a minimum, architectural design patterns, and the agile
method(s)
2.Minimum seven years of Microsoft engineering experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic
customer segment
3.Strong understanding of network protocols/services and network infrastructures
4.Demonstrated ability to understand a customer's needs and articulate technologies to business
stakeholders
5.Deep Microsoft technical skills and strong technical delivery of complex projects through a proven
methodology such as MOF, Agile, ITIL, TOGAF or similar project approaches
6.Experience in building CI/CD methodology in Azure using technologies like VS online, Jenkins, TFS
7.Understanding about the challenges and considerations to be catered for while migrating applications
from on-premise to Azure
8.Knowledge of migrating applications to Cloud using Tools like AppZero, ASR etc will be nice to have
9.Fundamental knowledge of AWS is also required and understanding on how Azure IaaS v/s AWS IaaS
compares to each other and conceptual knowledge of AWS RDS is desired
