Job Description
Designation: Data Architect
Mandatory Skills required: Architect endtoend BI solutions on the Azure platform incorporating services such as Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Factory Azure Analysis Services and Power BI.
Detailed Job description: Desired skills and experiences
Proficient in designing implementing and managing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Experience with ADF activities transformations and data flow development.
Indepth knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Blob Storage.
Ability to design and implement data storage solutions including data partitioning and optimization strategies.
Expertise in designing and optimizing data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics.
Strong understanding of Azure SQL Server and TSQL for developing and optimizing queries.
Proficient in ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and tools with a focus on Azurebased solutions.
Experience with data warehouse tools such as Azure Synapse Pipelines or other industrystandard ETL tools.
Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices. Experience in implementing and enforcing data governance policies within Azure services.
Familiarity with the architecture and implementation of data lakes particularly using Azure Data Lake Storage.
Ability to organize and manage data lakes to support diverse data types and analytics requirements.
Expertise in implementing security measures for data stored in Azure services including Azure Data Lake Blob Storage and Azure Synapse.
Proficient in Azure Active Directory integration and rolebased access control (RBAC) for securing data assets.
Strong understanding of data management principles including data quality data lineage and metadata management.
Experience with data profiling and data cleansing techniques to ensure highquality data.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect endtoend BI solutions on the Azure platform incorporating services such as Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data Factory Azure Analysis Services and Power BI.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Design and implement data models that support business analytics and reporting needs.
Develop data integration processes to consolidate and transform data from various sources into a unified reliable format.
Leverage a deep understanding of Azure services to optimize the use of cloud resources and ensure scalability
reliability and performance of BI solutions.
Stay current with Azure updates and trends incorporating new features and improvements into the BI architecture.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of BI solutions to ensure efficient data processing and responsiveness in reporting and analytics.
Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
