Azure Admin

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Azure administrator with a strong background in DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Azure infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration with DevOps tools and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services infrastructure as code continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Management:
Deploy configure and manage Azure infrastructure components including VMs virtual networks storage accounts and Azure Active Directory.
Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization performance and scalability.
Implement security measures to protect Azure resources and data.
DevOps Integration:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate Azure services into CI/CD pipelines.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates.
Automate deployment configuration and provisioning of Azure resources.
Manage Azure DevOps projects repositories pipelines and release management.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Set up monitoring and alerting for Azure services using Azure Monitor and other monitoring tools.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to Azure infrastructure and DevOps processes.
Implement logging and auditing mechanisms to ensure compliance and visibility.
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain documentation for Azure infrastructure configurations processes and best practices.
Provide training and support to team members on Azure services and DevOps practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay uptodate with the latest Azure features updates and best practices.
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate existing processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
Drive initiatives to enhance security performance and scalability of Azure infrastructure.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or similar role
Handson experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure SQL Database Azure Functions etc
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps Jenkins or GitLab
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible Puppet or Chef
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in Azure
