Looking to fill nights only 6p 6:30a.COVID19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID19 will be required to sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season. Please do not submit immunization records or driver licenses with your submissions. This assignment will float to the new Phoenix Children s Emergency DepartmentAvondale 1665 North Avondale Boulevard Avondale AZ and the Main Campus 1919 E. Thomas Road Phoenix AZ.Job Summary:This position facilitates and administers respiratory care including routine and complex procedures using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. Ensures care meets quality standards established by the hospital department and regulatory agencies and maintains all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe effective and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent. This position also participates in executing quality improvement initiatives. Education Requirements:Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. Experience Requirements:Minimum of one (1) year Level 3 NICU and/or PICU Certification/License/Registry Requirements:Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC Current Active Permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license.American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) membership preferred.NRP preferred.Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association preferred.

Shift: Nights 6p6:30a with every other weekend required.
