AWS SysOps

We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS Sysops Administrator to join our team. As an AWS Sysops Administrator you will be responsible for deploying managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure to ensure the reliability security and scalability of our systems. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of AWS services strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to implementing best practices in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Deployment and Management:

Deploy configure and manage AWS infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand application requirements and design scalable and reliable solutions.

2. Monitoring and Alerting:

Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues.

Set up alerting mechanisms for critical components responding to incidents and outages promptly.

3. Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security best practices in AWS environments.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies.

4. Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as AWS CLI PowerShell or Python.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

5. Performance Optimization:

Identify and address performance bottlenecks in AWS infrastructure.

Optimize resource utilization and costs through continuous monitoring and analysis.

6. Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Implement and maintain backup strategies for critical data and applications.

Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

7. Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with development and IT teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure support.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWS configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience as a SysOps Engineer with a focus on AWS.

Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM etc.

Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. AWS CLI PowerShell Pythonanyone).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation Terraform).

Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in AWS.

Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or related certifications are a plus.
