AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for candidates with 4 years of experience who can implement Cloud infrastructure component for projects and implement CICD pipeline for application development and deployment.

The candidate will provide L1 support to developers for application deployment and configuration. The candidate will also provide support for deployment processtroubleshooting pipeline and cloud infrastructure component issues.

Looking for candidates who can join on immediate basis or within 30 days.

Requirements

Primary Skillsets

• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration
  
• Experience with at least one of major cloud platform such as GCP AWS AZURE
  
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins GitLabCI ArgoCD
  
• Knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle
  
• Knowledge on scripting languages like PythonGroovy Shell.
  
• Knowledge on deployment configuration management like Helm Kustomize.
  
• Experience with the concepts of API Gateway Nginx Kong Traefik etc.
  
• Strong problems solving and communication skills

Principal Responsibilities Extensive programming experience in JavaScript, typescript, or other backend languages Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code Developing and maintaining all server-side network components Solid understanding and development experience in Node/Express and rest API's Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions Running diagnostic tests, debugging defects, and communicating with team Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies. Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests Focus on test driven development with testing frameworks ex. Mocha and Chai Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like GIT Solid understanding of one of the cloud solutions like AWS, Azure or GCP Ensure high performance, security, and availability of applications. Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements Documenting NodeJS processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary and prepare documentations. Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Proactive in raising issues and achieve clarity on the functional & technical aspects. Excellent team player, ability to work in a global team and follow through on deadlines. Thorough understanding of one project management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps etc.,
