Must Haves

• In laymans terms what does this person need to be doing in their job every day Whats the problem they are solving
  • Someone who is coming out of midmarket to enterprise level corporation
  • Infrastructure as code working with developers
  • They work together as devops they are responsible for ops devops uploads code and test it this team will take it test it and deploy it
  • Mix between old school and modernized infrastructure with containers oldschool with VMwares
  • Someone who understands how to deploy through vmware and deploy through terraform
  • Leveraging cloud as smart as possible
  • Infrastructure person who moved to the cloud
  • Gitlab shop with gitlab they use terraform
  • Powershell Scripting
  • What is a VPC how to see the ranges how to talk to DNS
• What type of experience is needed and how does this experience translate to the actual role
  • Someone who has come from the very traditional background of infrastructure who has moved to the cloud and understands how the two are intertwined
• Top 3 Must Haves (What would this person need that if they did not have this experience they absolutely would not be considered):
  • 5 years of AWS Cloud/Modernization
  • Infrastructure as Code/IaC
  • Deploying focus through Terraform to AWS and also through Virtual Machines (Windows)
  • Terraform/Gitlab integrating the modules of Terraform
  • Powershell scripting

Job Description

• Minimum of 5 years AWS experience with relevant certification is highly preferred
• Bachelors / associate degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Handson experience with AWS services and technologies.
• Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools ( Terraform).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python lambda) for automation tasks.
• Understanding of AWS networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.
• Experience with Network and Infrastructure technologies windows server and services AD IIS DHCP DNS PowerShell scripting etc. VMware Storage backups SQL admin and more.
• Knowledge of CICD tools such as Gitlab and DevOps tools such as Ansible docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of 3rd party storage and firewall solutions is desired.
• Prior health care and home care experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to arrange information and files in a useful manner.
• Ability to read write and effectively communicate in English.
