InfraHire is looking for an Avionics Service Technician in Smyrna TN.
Job Description:

The Avionics Service Tech conducts testing troubleshooting and repairs on avionics equipment and electrical components. This encompasses the troubleshooting of installations and systems as well as the comprehensive functional testing of avionics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate expertise in reading and deciphering wiring diagrams aircraft blueprints and schematics.
  • Test troubleshoot and repair avionics equipment and accessories both in aircraft and on the bench. Identify and rectify electronics failures in various airframes using hand tools test equipment technical documents and technical reference materials.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors coworkers and manufacturers in a timely manner. Exhibit the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Ensure that repairs align with the procedures outlined in the companys FAA Repair Station Manual as well as comply with FAA Regulations and manufacturer instructions.
  • Apply sound judgment and technical acumen to make informed decisions regarding job sequence techniques troubleshooting and discrepancy resolutionaimed at optimizing quality and efficiency while adhering to agreedupon deadlines.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics integrity safety and honesty.
  • Lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
  • Required Experience: Minimum of three years of work experience in a general aviation aircraft modification/completion/repair shop.
  • Preferred Experience: At least five years of successful avionics installation repair or maintenance experience with deep knowledge of leading avionics brands.
  • Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Education: College / university degree or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics
