Automation Engineer I

A NA client has a need for an Automation Testing Engineer Level 1 in San Antonio TX. This is a contracttohire role and the candidate must reside in Texas. The role is primarily remote but must be in a commutable distance to San Antonio in order to go into the office up to 34 times per month. As a Test Automation Engineer I you would: * Design review build and deploy test automation solutions and frameworks for the most complex interrelated systems to ensure the quality and stability of software applications * Collaborate with product management project management development teams and business stakeholders to develop project product and testing objectives

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience * 23 years of test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver or Appium * Technical development experience with multiple programming or scripting languages and using Selenium as framework * Strong understanding of ObjectOriented programming concepts * Strong understanding of Java and scripting languages like Ruby or python using Selenium as framework and independently identifying technical issues including misconfigurations and code defects * Demonstrated experience developing functional load or batch test automation solutions * Expert knowledge of the role of Test Automation and Software Quality Assurance in the development process * Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns * Strong understand of software testing life cycle (STLC)
