Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings for mechanical devices using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with industry and engineering standards.
• Revise and modify designs based on feedback from the engineering team.
• Produce technical drawings for components ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and reports related to mechanical designs.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide input on design improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest design software and technology trends in the industry.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless production processes.
• Provide support in the development of prototype models and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project completion.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver highquality design outputs within deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the design and engineering processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer or similar role in the mechanical design field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D mechanical designs.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical design concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards and codes related to mechanical design.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in design software and visualization tools such as SolidWorks CATIA or similar programs.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities in designrelated challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in the manufacturing or production environment is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to adapt to evolving design requirements and project scopes.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical design.
