Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and supporting the Audit Director.
  • Coordinating and enhancing external audit processes.
  • Supervising and conducting independent audits and investigations.
  • Developing policies procedures and structured training sessions.
  • Planning scheduling and managing audit engagements efficiently.
  • Mentoring staff and optimizing team effectiveness.
  • Ensuring timely completion and review of audits.
  • Assisting clients with internal control procedures and responding to audit findings.
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship management.


Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements:

Completed SAICA articles.
Proficient knowledge of ISA IFRS for SMEs relevant laws regulations and guidelines.
Proven success in external audits and leading an audit team.
Expertise in Draftworx.
Fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
Experience:

At least 3 years of extensive experience in accounting and auditing.
Familiarity with financial software (e.g. Pastel Sage Online Xero) is advantageous.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary degree or diploma in Human Resources. Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures. Labour legislation and practice. Awareness of socio-political/economic issues and the implications of these for the labour market. Manpower and succession planning principles and practices. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital HR systems. Change management principles and practices. At least 3-5 years experience in a HR Officer role Strong experience in managing the delivery on every aspect of the Employee Life Cycle. Deep generalist HR skill and experience strong people management experience Working knowledge of human resources policies/procedures/labour legislations and practices. Understanding of and experience in budgeting, planning, managing change and exercising control over an HR function Working hours are 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. 5 days per week, Mondays Fridays. Resilience in working with difficult and demanding circumstances at times. Physical Demands: Ability to work long hours during rollout or management of projects.
